The Program Manager of the Kiribati–Australia Skills for Employment Partnership, Kirby Smith, has expressed her delight after meeting with students and staff at the Kiribati Institute of Technology (KIT) in Betio.
The Kiribati Institute of Technology reported that Ms. Smith had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with both students and dedicated staff during her visit.
In her remarks, Ms. Smith said she was deeply touched by the warmth and hospitality of the people she met in Kiribati.
She also shared her enthusiasm for contributing to the development of the national skills and employment sector, highlighting a focus on sustainability, strengthening institutional systems, and fostering collaborative solutions.
