All dioceses around the world have rung their church bells 88 times to honor the life of the Holy Father on this earth.
Bishop Simon Mani of the Diocese of Tarawa and Nauru shared heartfelt condolences for Pope Francis in a letter posted on the diocese’s official Facebook page.
In his message, Bishop Mani gives thanks for Pope Francis’ life of humble service, deep faith, and unwavering dedication to Christ and His Church.
Masses will be offered throughout the diocese in thanksgiving for the life of Pope Francis, and for the consolation of the Church during this time of mourning.
