“New Equipment for Blue Carbon Project: OFCF Supports MFAR’s Progress”

The Overseas Fishery Cooperation Foundation of Japan (OFCF) has officially handed over essential materials to the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources (MFAR) in a significant step towards advancing the Blue Carbon Project. The handover ceremony took place last Friday at the Tanaea Hatchery. The Ministry of Fisheries reported that the materials provided included a microscope, incubation tanks, a refrigerator, and other crucial equipment. In his remarks, Dr. Satoshi, representing OFCF, highlighted the importance of this transfer in fostering collaboration and ensuring the project remains on schedule. Deputy Secretary Tieri Tamoa was thanked the Government of Japan for the seamless coordination and pledged to use the materials efficiently to achieve the project’s objectives. …………….
