The oldest member of the KiriVoice Singers from Bikinibeu has revealed that the group still carries some debt due to Tebuatanga Katabono's contributions. He made this statement during the Thanksgiving and Memorial Night organized by the Garden Rootz Singers, held last Saturday at the Sports Complex in Betio, to honor the late Tebutanga Katabono, a renowned singer and keyboardist. The KiriVoice member recalled that throughout his life, Tebuatanga had been a pillar of support for the group, offering not only his deep musical knowledge but also his exceptional talent as a keyboardist. He expressed that this special event was a way for the group to honor Tebuatanga’s legacy and to show their deep gratitude for his unwavering support and dedication whenever KiriVoice needed his skills.
