“Tobwaan Kiribati Party now has 33 members”

The Chairperson of the Tobwaan Kiribati Party (TKP), MP Beteroo Atanibora, has confirmed the total number of TKP members ahead of the upcoming Parliament session.

MP Atanibora, Member of Parliament from Abaiang island, told Radio Kiribati News that the TKP currently has 33 members.

He also stated that 19 re-elected member MPs and 14 newly elected MPs from various islands who have pledged their support to the Tobwaan Kiribati Party.

The first meeting of Parliament is scheduled for next week, on September 13.
